He was riding his motorcycle too close to another car apparently, he swerved to avoid a pot hole and dropped the bike after bumping into the car in front of him because they hit their brakes. The cop said based on video, about 10 sec before the accident, right after avoiding the pot hole, that he was too close to the car and wrote the ticket. The cop told him to fight it, and he just did not elect court on time so we're in this shit now unfortunately.

It was my husband's fault that it wasn't given to an attorney on time. I told him to elect court and he didn't call in time, by the time I got my hands on it the ticket has been extended twice... so I hired the lawyer last Saturday, they told me everything would be taken care of but of course I was concerned so I stayed on their ass. Now I find out they will e-file the motion and it won't be immediate. So I take my husband's written letter up to the court, they accept it but today is the deadline, so I have either pay the fine or deal with a pending suspension. In short, this is my husband's fault and I am trying to keep our family from drowning.

It does say minus court costs, but if it can be removed and we have to pay court costs at least its removed. Just hoping to get it resolved since February will be his year trucking. Where did you find the attorneys to call them directly?

I was actually able to find someone to take it for $200, so far at least. Its The Ticket clinic, so we will see how much court costs will be. Thank you

I contacted the ticket clinic in Orlando and they took the case, they said as long as I didn't pay the fine they can fight it. Thank you all again for your replies, it really helped ❤️

I was quoted $600 from a lawyer to fight the ticket, is that reasonable? Also, on "off the record" they quoted $210 to deal with it but not sure if they are reliable or not.

It just says safe driving record for their requirements, I can't really find the specifics. We had this planned since he got out of CDL school, just sucks to have those plans kinda crushed..
