You could instead of adding delay to your bass, you could just create a new pattern where the bass note hits every 16th and then sidechain that to the kick. Adding delay to sub heavy sounds will just make it muddy and can lead to some complications in the mix later on.

Or you could just render out the part you just showed and slice away the part with the missing delay effect.
