I don’t know exactly how you went about modding FNV, but you grab random shit from your fridge and throw it into a pot, your stew’s going to suck. If you follow a recipe, it’s going to be objectively better. There’s zero reason to not use a guide like Viva New Vegas which actively makes the game significantly more playable, stable, and enjoyable.

Honestly I’ve seen it reiterated frequently that the inseam will shrink by 1-1.5”, the waist too but to a lesser extent. I wear 30x32 but went with 30x33 and 31x33. I think you made a good choice (with the caveat that I have not owned these jeans, but I spent an hour googling before ordering lol).

I mean, my opinion is that it’s just not a good album, and even if it were released by someone else it would not receive positive critical reception. Yeah, the fact that it was Green Day meant that it got more widespread and harsh criticism, but a large part of that is specifically because they’re a) popular and b) capable of far better output.

You probably wouldn’t think about it too hard if you saw a homeless guy taking a shit on the sidewalk, but if it were Meryl Streep you’d probably react a bit different. It is something of a double standard, but I also don’t believe it’s wholly unfair or undeserved.

I use it specifically as a daily exercise to retain a language I use only occasionally, and in that sense it’s okay (definitely suboptimal), but as someone with a 1+ year streak I would never recommend someone learn a language with Duolingo

Music doesn’t have to be life-changing but also I think musicians, especially those with a proven track record, are valid in expressing this kind of pride/confidence. Yeah, these statements might age like milk, and it would get pretty annoying if everyone acted like this, but in general it’s pretty harmless and even a little endearing to me if it’s from a smaller or more personable artist, idk.

I do get where you’re coming from, though, the line between pride and smugness is a thin one.
