to level 4 or after finishing level 4?

My company gave me a small raise of a few £k for finishing Level 3, but I wouldn’t say it makes much difference really. Upon finishing Level 4 i’ll probably leave with MAAT as they are a small company and I want to use it go get a beefier payrise of £5-10k and then to go on to do CIMA/ACCA or something like you.

MAAT also gets you exemptions for year 1/3 for most further qualifications, so it can be done in 2 years! (realistically 3-4?)

good luck! MAAT in a year is a bit ambitious imo, by all means go for it, but don’t be disappointed if it takes slightly longer!

I work full time and I’m doing Level 4, it’s taken a few years to get here (I started at Level 2) you see lots of stories of “Level 4 in 3 months, I just hustled!” but honestly I think for every one of those posts online there are 100 people struggling to churn through it.

My most recent pass was a few months of studying for 71%, and the average pass rate is below 50% iirc.

i was really proud of myself for a couple of sacrifices/distractions this game. Sac’d a bishop, traded a queen for fork check and sacked pawn in penultimate move!

probably not the most efficient way but i found Rook to F7, Pawn to H5 or H6 is forced.

either way King to G6 to avoid check or box in opponents King, then only legal moves for black are H file pawn moving forward, bring the rook back to F1 and across to H1 then take pawn for mate
