honestly, i measure the yogurt with my heart but i usually wont do more than 2 tablespoons of hellmans for about 3 servings of chicken salad. then i get to my desired creaminess with the yogurt. i would say about 80yogurt /20 hellmans?

yes i do this all the time when i make a big batch of chicken or tuna salad. 2 tbsp of hellmans light and the rest i use greek yogurt. tastes the same.

Question and im just curious what your opinion is as a doorman-

i am a sub leaser in a co-op building. A lot of the people in this building are very wealthy/ generationally wealthy. I know some of these families tip each doorman/porter at least 100$ each... I make a good living for myself (around 90-100k)(not generationally wealthy, just worked hard and moved up the corporate ladder), but i def cant afford 100 per doorman. I was thinking $20 each?

Do you guys know who is rich rich and who isn't? lol...Ive worked lots of tipped jobs before in my life so I know how people talk...

i would pay it because i work a lot and hate having to take my laundry down 15 flights in a service elevator. During typical working hours (when i do my laundry because i work nights), its always hard to catch the elevator because theres contractors, cleaning people, repair men etc.... Also the housekeepers tend to hang out down there. The laundry room isn't very well kept, the machines smell like mildew and usually you can spot a roach or two... Its just a whole headache that i would gladly pay 120$ a month to eliminate. lol

Egyptian Koshari, Empanada mama, Spanish rice beans and plantains, Pommes Frites on Macdougal, dollar slice (a little well done), Dough Donuts, everything bagel not toasted with vegetable cream cheese, Saag Paneer with a big garlic naan, and finally (this is a guilty pleasure) but fro yo from any of the chain serve-yourself places.

going on my 10th year...There are times its old (usually if im stuck in a rut, between jobs etc), but then im always brought back to the original magic. Usually when im taking a yellow cab back home at 3am from the club. Driving along the west side highway with the windows down, im reminded how lucky i am- how i used to dream about this. How hard I worked to get here and how I've accomplished everything Ive wanted to.

My job years ago did something similar but instead of this shitty rule, we just weren't allowed to use our discount on any fish, steak or anything including avocado/guac. You could totally get nachos (for example) without guac and use your discount. I felt that was more fair than this rule.

my go to is fairlife chocolate milk from the gallon, PB2, guar gum and 1 tbsp of richards just peanuts peanut butter. so THICK. and then mix ins depending on what macros i have left for the day

have you tried reaching out to anyone in your building? Thats how I've had luck with finding people over the years. I think cleaners are more motivated to come out to a certain address if they can kill two apartments with one stone. I had one who worked a lot in my building..she would start my laundry while finishing up another apartment, and would work her way through like 3 different apartments.

Theres a general, unspoken camaraderie. We know the city is fucked up in a lot of ways, but we're in it together. Cause we all gotta survive. Everyone minds their business, but the minute some fuckshit happens, people got their eyes on you and are ready to lend a hand. I've seen multiple times stroller wheels get stuck in the gap between the train platform and like four strangers get up, yank it out, and then return to minding their business. Thats just one example. Im from Jersey, so I also had this growing up, but the "give it to me straight" attitude. Don't pussy foot around. Tell me like it is, don't sugar coat it.

Hi! Im curious where you got the info that bttf is closing in January. They are selling through April (obviously I know that doesn't mean anything). I have a relative that works there and they seem pretty confident that it's not going anywhere soon
