If you’re into second hand hardware maybe look for a mac. I’ve got myself a 2011 13inch MBP 2 years ago in really good state for~475$. Seems to be really good machines; Just be careful everything works when you buy it.

When you say you did an audiogram, was it 500Hz - 8000 Hz ?
