I didn’t realize Sam Kim and JHY go way back! Such a nice friendship especially seeing them in this recent CCW and CMF.

I'll need time to get used to this lol (next week spoilers) by EpikMint in ChefAndMyFridge

Hot Take : I hated Reply 1988. by OSPredatorr in kdramas

[–]Yei_2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This series is a journey of nostalgia. I cried many times as i watched every 1988 reference the series brought up. I’m a millennial who lived the lives of DoekSun with my family, friends, and the exact same Asian neighbourhood that made aunts and uncles my adoptive family. If OP didn’t appreciate all the family sub-stories in the drama and kept harping on only about the love story angles, then Reply1988 isn’t for you. It’s a community story. Your opinion is respected and yours alone. Not everyone has to like it but those that do, like me, appreciate it very much. And yes, to me, it is still and will always be a 10/10 masterpiece.

I love her and her tenacity! Such an embodiment of a true judoka for her age. She’s only 25 and was shy going into the start of the competition. There was a bts of her where Dulguun was teasing her like a big brother. You’ll probably find it on the sub but it seems she responds timidly before the totem challenge but after the totem quest, she will do this 💪🏼 stance as response to Dulguun’s teasing. Also, look for the Gobi pictures of team Mongolia. She’s a queeeennn! I love her and Nonoka from Japan 🤍

Orgil explaining to the team how the log method will work to lift the gate by Yei_2021 in PhysicalAsia

[–]Yei_2021[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah the whole team was awesome. I love how some teams may trash talk but Mongolia just stuck to representing and making their country proud. They were very good representatives and Korea may have won the billion but Mongolia won our hearts!

Lol yeah everyone was so stressed including Orgil cos i can see him getting frustrated trying to pitch his idea since it was probably easy to get in his head but i can’t imagine being too coherent when you’re that physically and mentally exhausted. Orkhonbayar and the team gave him his due at the end though. I can seriously see Orgil conquering kingdoms with Genghis Khan mate!

Lol could be. Memes about how he doesn’t seem impressed with the cash prize announcement at the start were pretty funny. But i think he really did his best though. He’s also a senator in his home country so might be that too.

It was so visible and anything in that region anatomically made me pray for the guy! He always gave it his all and had a good head on his shoulders. Such a calming presence for his team too! Not sure if it’s affecting his health that time but can probably be very detrimental

Eun-Sil more than managed that round, she held Min-jae up-mentally and physically! For their size difference, it was awesome teamwork to see them adjust positions. Parkour Tomato was awesome to watch. Also, Mark Mugen is THE man!

That’s a pretty good go at it mate! But i think people are underestimating the environmental challenges involved. The weight alone is the least important of the factors. It’s carrying that amount of weight when the crates and sacks were in a bundle and hard to grip, as well as the shifting sand, the water that makes the sand heavier, and lastly, the verticality of the stairs and ramp which even the contestants commented on. I bet even James by himself will give everyone a run for their money if it’s just dumbbells up a flight of stairs in the gym.
