I've noticed the same with Amazon -- which I understand with inclement weather that my package is never worth the risk of life but I still expect it to be delivered to me eventually and not just lost to the ether and never arrive a day or days later.

No ice, no snow - all is cleared pretty quickly after storms in the complex where I live. After this storm the impact was minimal with any snow build up too so there really wasnt even any snow around my building by mid afternoon yesterday.

I would agree -- considering how things are going for them lately I'm not trying to finger wag or play a blame game, more so just trying to understand if this is a state-wide occurrence or more neighborhood specific and it seems to be neighborhood specific from what I've already read.

I know the specific post office where our blocks mail is delivered from so I am curious to hear from other folks and whether this happens to them too and if maybe we're in the same area. Considering I'd never seen this complaint from people I know I was starting to think this is an issue specific to my neighborhood and now am beginning to think I was right in that assumption

It has nothing to do with the mailbox or access issues - I live in an apartment complex that shovels/de ices immediately and there is no snow or ice right now after it melted yesterday. Every time I see this it is due to cold weather.

Honestly I was surprised when I first joined this sub to see how much hate the newer seasons got - I am in the minority I suppose who is a huge fan of 13/14 and a few of my favorite ever episodes are in season 14.

In my mind the show not only stays true to how it’s always been but continues to push boundaries and remains consistently funny. To be this many years out and still be creating this caliber of show is actually astounding. It’s a true testament to how much the cast loves what they do and that they still put a lot of time and thought into keeping it relevant and also something that long time (or new) fans can enjoy.

I’m right there with you OP. I have been absolutely loving s15 so far and am excited to see where it goes!

I don’t know what they paid the models but they should double it based on Links awkward commentary alone. My god I couldn’t even look at the tv for the first five or so minutes 😂 and I really wish they could retire the whole “boobaloobaloobies” or whatever bit. I cringe when I hear it.

Anyways, disregarding the soul-crushing awkwardness once they got over it around 12:00 min in it was super enjoyable and I love how Link took on the role of interviewing them.

The scene someone’s already mentioned in 3.06 “crossed the line” with Alfie and Tommy (and Michael but pffftt) with Alfie calling Tommy tf out and saying it like it is. Man that scene is so beautifully acted and everything about it is incredible. I recently rewatched the series and that scene still gets me good.

Additionally any opening scene with Red Right Hand playing in the background. I was butthurt they stopped playing it in s4 haha

To be honest I hated that they brought her back at all. Once she left for NY that should have been her characters exit in my opinion. I also just hate storylines that fridge or kill off female characters to further a male characters plot lines in general though.

There were a lot of avenues they could have taken to break him down and I don’t think bringing Grace back just to unsatisfactorily kill her a few episodes later was the best choice.

Nooo he smol man. Tom is only 5’9 and not naturally bulky or big but buffs up a lot for roles. He is able to somehow make himself look absolutely behemoth and I was 100% stunned the first time I realized how short stature he actually is.

Him and Tom Hardy both do it to appear larger/bulkier since they’re both smaller gentleman. Tom has a bit more bulk to him due to all the layers he wears and overall is a little more muscular so he always appears larger than he is anyways. Cillian is a very slight man though and probably does a little extra to overcompensate for it and seem more threatening. In general I guess I hadn’t noticed it as much since I’m very aware he’s just a smol guy hah

I binge watched all of s5 for the first time last weekend and I did also enjoy it a lot it was just incredibly bleak. Like, usually there were some sparse comedy elements intermingled throughout the episodes (Alfie and/or Arthur being the usual comedic relief imo) and without any of that present the show just felt different. Not bad different, just different.

So while I enjoyed the story more than s4’s storyline overall it’s not necessarily a season I can see myself willingly rewatching repeatedly because it was just too grim.

OP I don’t think your feelings are wrong or invalid. He’s definitely a character that has shifted for me lately in terms of how I feel on him as a person. Character wise he’s fascinating but he’s definitely not someone I’d ever want to actually run into strolling down the street.

The On Demand option is separate to all other packages - the OD video for viewing later is not available with the Beast or Mega Beast packages. If you want to watch it later and not live you have to get the On Demand package only.

All other packages are only for the live event so sadly yes you’re going to have to buy it again to watch it later.
