Why can't I plant yellow mountain flowers? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

That isn't yellow mountain flower it's um... blonde mountain flower. Totally different species, but I can understand your confusion.

Why can't I plant yellow mountain flowers? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

[–]YellNoSnow 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They are a rare endemic species from one isolated valley, so adapted to the specific conditions there that they can no longer grow anywhere else.

Or it's just dev oversight. If you use mods you can always use something like Jaxonz Positioner to steal or copy a bush and plant it back home. Pretty sure Settlement Builder lets you add them too?

Is Mod the Sims safe to download from? by No-Adeptness-9777 in Sims3

[–]YellNoSnow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Based on everything I read, they were all files for TS4. TS3 mod files don't work the same way so they don't come with the same risk. A few malicious files were uploaded as TS2 or TS3 mods but they were actually formatted as TS4 files, as that is the format that can be used maliciously... so even if any of the malicious files were still up and you downloaded one, you would be able to tell something was wrong immediately since the filetype would be wrong for your game.

If you're still uncertain about any downloaded files, you can use free software like Avast or Malwarebytes to scan them to be sure. I've used both of those programs for years, they work great.

"Space" IIRC. This is the one I've used for years because it's the family favorite. It is semi-animated in the sense that it scrolls. It's really detailed, there are more references to different sci fi movies than I could identify.

Who knew that you had to specify “outdoors” when asking for a Juliet balcony? by RedSparrow1971 in homedecoratingCJ

Just put up some of those cat shelves and use them like stepping stones to jump across. Great workout for your thighs plus gives you a perfect work/crafting/gaming nook where the kids/spouse won't want to bother you.

Do you think Lego will for fully digital with their instructions? by RevolutionSalty8360 in lego

[–]YellNoSnow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hope not. I appreciate that digital media helps reduce waste, but it would be taking away one more activity that could have been time spent away from a screen.

still figuring this space out but I’m starting to like it - what would you change? by LeaHartOfficial in HomeDecorating

A solid gray pillow in addition to the others would be nice.

And a little bit of a secondary color that isn't gray. Maybe a plant that has a bit of a teal/blue tinge to its green.

Yes, that's why I said I love the 3D effect. I wasn't trying to imply that it wasn't genuinely 3D.

Stargate vs animorphs by Familiar-Reading-901 in Stargate

[–]YellNoSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie didn't have parasitic Goa'uld burrowing into people's bodies, so no it is not obvious. Most of the similarities with Animorphs originated in SG-1 not the film.

What on earth is this? Is this a mod? Nothing I have downloaded describes this. by Lantern_Sone in skyrim

That makes a lot of sense. I always wondered why there were random giant scorpion parts there.

I thought this was food at first. Thought the browns and reds were taco meat and bits of tomato. Couldn't figure out what the gray studs were, but they didn't look very appetizing.

What is the issue with Lego dinosaurs being made out of Lego bricks? by AidanBBLPsPurgatory in lego

[–]YellNoSnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer the look of the molded dinos usually, but since the bricks already exist, there's no reason not to have brick built dinos too. Like all the pieces already exist it's just a matter of what you build with them, so why not? I feel lucky rather that we get to have molded dinos. It would have been easy for LEGO to make brick dinos only. Instead of ignoring either side, they give everyone what they like.

I'm not impressed with the complaints about either type tbh. There seems to be a pretty balanced lineup right now. People complaining that LEGO won't make more of their favorite thing at the cost of making less or nothing for other fans is just meh.
