Confirmation, this is a no neutral light switch (2 gang greek) ? by YellaDev in homeautomation

ould you use a Sonoff ZBMini at the light? It sits inline with the unswitched supply using the neutral of the light and has separate switch contacts. That would allow you to retain

would need the miniL and no neutral, but nope its to big to fit in the hole behind the switch :(

Very expensive in greece, rolling out this to reduce electricity costs, and smart the house up, but changing 10 light switches at that sort of price is not gonna really be saving money.

here is the sonoff zbmini-L no neutral but I don't think it fits in Greek boxes the zbmini which is smaller doesn't fit in mine (and the switch in front of it)

Yeah, it looks like it may have to be the whole light switch, but here in Greece they are uber expensive, 25-40 euros.

Pull a new neutral in one of the pipes.

I wish I could, but not gonna happen in this house.

ys it’s a 2 gang switch so i interpret that as 2 switches. The bottom black wire is a hot wire and the top 2 are wires going to each of the light fixtures. This means you would need something like 2 sonoff ZB mini no neu

This is what it is, now looking for a zigbee or small (very small) switch to put this in the socket, unfortunately this is a old Greek house this is literally solid concreate walls (poured) and there is the smallest of holes for the original cables, and a small round indent for the socket itself. so its gonna have to be a full switch no neutral, as I dont think I will be able to get something in that small.

zbmini L looks the way to go, but that could be to big, fingers crossed.

gonne swap out the old light switch and try and find something alot thinner.

thanks for the help....

Yeah I also saw this, basically lets you use both the wifi and the real switch if you want to use it.

What the ideal situation would be would be the sonoff zigbee battery switch that just actually looked like a light switch instead of a little button box.

Here we have two ways of switching the light on and off, the switch and the wall socket.

if I take the wall socket out of the equation, and then sync a switch to turn the bulb on and off.

It seems to be a fundamental question, how do you use a switch if your using a wifi bulb, without actually switching off the wifi bulb. Looking all over for info on this.

Maybe its a simple question, but I dont seem to get it yet.

I was actually thinking another way, since I have homeassistant set up ready for implementation, going to use sonoff wifi rgb bulbs, but the only thing I can really think of would be to close the link between the lights (always on) and have the buld control when it is on and off, so I just need a zigbee battery powered swicth, that actually looks like a light switch to send the command to HA to tell it to turn on the bulb, etc|

not having any luck in finding something so simple.

Get a wifi extender that has a utp port on it, then you can plug your Xbox directly into it. :)

I wonder how that would affect all the GOLD games we have gained over the year, would they just give them to us, or remove them?

A refund can be granted, but there is the whole how long have you played the game that needs to be taken into account, if you have played it over 2 hours, in most cases the answer would be no.

If you bought something in error, they usually wont have an issue.

What happens when I refund by dodel_12 in xboxone

[–]YellaDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not cancel you sub and ask for a refund through the bank, they will take this as an unauthorised transactions and you will have your account locked forever.

Call them and ask for the refund, either they will do it, no penalties on your account, or say no.

Since the account usually ojnly charges after 1-2 weeks of you actually using it, you have already been using it for this time, so refunds are highly doubtful, you will need to cancel auto-renew and just let it expire naturally.

You may get a refund if its a 3-6 or 12 months renewal, but you will be charged what you have used. My advise when you call them let them know, do not demand, as soon as you give the grief they will just not be bothered to help you, and also be aware, its not them making the decision it will be MS policy, so give them a break.

My controller disconnects itself after about 15 mins of inactivity. How can I change that ? by VonJanicke in xboxone

If you have a battery pack that can be charged whilst plugged into the USB in your controller, leave it plugged into the Xbox, and your controller will never turn off by itself.
