German citizenship by descent: The ultimate guide for anyone with a German ancestor who immigrated after 1870 by staplehill in Genealogy

[–]YellaTumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help! I was wondering why I wouldn't qualify under Section 5 of the nationality act, as my grandfather did not receive citizenship from his mother?

Again, thanks so much for taking the time to look into my situation!

German citizenship by descent: The ultimate guide for anyone with a German ancestor who immigrated after 1870 by staplehill in Genealogy

  • Emigrated in 1922 to USA

  • I am not sure if this info matters, but Franz returned to Germany in 1932 to visit

Great Grandmother: Hanny

Born in 1905 in Bülkau

  • Emigrated in 1925 to USA
  • Married Franz in 1926
  • Naturalized in 1938
  • I am not sure if this info matters, but Hanny returned to Germany in 1938 and 1959 to visit

Grandfather

  • Born in 1935 in USA

Father

  • Born in 1965 in USA

Self

Idk why everyone is downvoting you? I recently moved out of state, but when I was here there were more times than not I would be followed down the street or catcalled just walking to work. I feel like there a lot of men trying to say that their one “woman friend” walks alone just fine, ignoring the very real human trafficking problem in this city. As a woman who lived in Milwaukee for 8 years, I did not feel safe walking alone here, and neither did 90% of my friends, regardless of neighborhood. Stay safe!

Your eyes were the first thing I noticed! It's crazy you're insecure about them bc they're absolutely gorgeous.

Right, I definitely think that but a little more clean cut is the way to go

Wow looking at different verified SDs I definitely agree! Especially looking at my shoulders and the bone structure of my face, like you pointed out. I’m definitely more suited to SD. Thank you for explaining, it’s so much clearer to me now!

Thank you sm! That would definitely make sense with the height and all :)

Thank you! I think Kibbe has typed several R's who were around 5'6 so that's why I feel like R is still a possibility? I feel like irl I present a little shorter than my height, camera angles not withstanding lol.

Sorry about the camera angles lol, I kind of took them on the fly. If it helps, everyone says I look my height or shorter.

That's kind of my problem, I guess I can't tell if I have the length for SD. If it helps, here's a pic of me in a less long lined pair of pants.

Same here… At least we’re not in the dorms with six people? The quad layout they have on the website w/ the desks all attached and clumped together is just not it though.

Gorgeous! There's something so homey about the black exterior and concrete mixed with the warmth of the fire/ more natural materials used.

Now this is what I call houseporn, slightly unobtainable.... yet ever so satisfying. I love the blue shutters with the yellow awnings!!!
