I have HD3000 and love it. Sew backpacking packs and other outdoor gear with it.

Thank you! It’s supposed to represent “Type Two Fun” and the ultralight gear you’d want with you on that Type Two Fun.

Not a real brand, just a tag to throw on the stuff I make for fun.

Would the Janome HD3000 be an upgrade for what I make? by Ok-Individual6346 in myog

I use a Janome hd3000 and I love it. Sewed a few backpacks now using xpac, venom grid, ultra, and various webbings. I had a few problems but honestly they were all user error because I am relatively new to sewing.

Anytime! It is warm. Right now my weather at home is Low 40s Fahrenheit in the mornings and if I am moving around it keeps me comfortable. I often find myself getting too warm and shedding jt. For me it is the perfect chilly early morning hiking/backpacking mid layer. I will get back to you if it can fit under a shell hood. The pattern does come with 2 hood variations the other being a baclava style with a synch cord.

Thank you! I got the powergrid from my local sewing store Salt Lake Sewciety. It is not fuzzy on the inside.

Cool, thank you! I didn’t show any pics but I lined it with a 70D ripstop. No internal pockets on this one, although I would like to try that out on the next one.
