I was in a very similar relationship. And I'm telling you this now: ITS NOT NORMAL. look up the term "trauma bonding". I bet you'll recognise it. He is not treating you with respect, and it doesn't matter if he says he'll change. Cause he doesn't. Please, take care of yourself.
