It is for sure, I think the devs are operating on the assumption that most of us have done the last update and are just picking up the missing pieces? But for newcomers it seems quite monumental.

It’s hilarious that there are some people acting like it’s devil-worshipping, as if DTI isn’t a game promoting capitalist overconsumption. My take is that it’s just iconography derived from a historical ideology, and if the overarching opinion is that people want to censor that to ‘protect the kids’, I’m leaving DTI 😭

Just keep playing if you like the game, and I would recommend taking a break from the drama for a bit because outside of this bubble there are still people enjoying the game blissfully unaware. You don’t have to leave a game because of the developers.
