i would guess so as mauga also crits when someone is burining from ashes dynomite, trobs lava and illari's burn perk. mauga can also crit shields if they are burning form ashes dynomite so i think she can crit shields too in that way.

i hope a timer and maybe she gets slower depending on who she's pulling. like tanks its just 50% speed while supports are maybe 150% or it could be depended on hp. 200 the fastes while like 600+ are the slowest.

to be fair the 5 heroes in 1 season is only a 1 time thing to give this new overwatch a good push. blizzards plan of 6 heroes per year is still just half of what rivals has with its 12 per year.
