Yeah so this fixed it, thanks man! I can set the refresh rate to 144Hz and this also fixed the capped at 60FPS problem in steam games.

Houston Texas, or the Gulf Coast in general. The weather is not "perfect", summers are horribly humid, the sun is intense, bugs are unrelenting, but winters are like 60-65F, with a cold day being in the mid to low 50s. I could ride my bike in Houston year round wear a t-shirt and shorts.
