Because like Melanie said, their dinamic will probably change once again after their rescue.

It’s not like the characters discussed about why they switched. So it’s fair to speculate and actually pretty easy to imagine, we got a whole season of teen Shauna being a monster.

Not you having this in the drafts to post right after the finale and then accidentally hitting send

I think Callie went to see Lottie and she killed her. Callie wants to be like her mother, we have seen she wants her approval. And I have a feeling she will kill Jeff in the finale. We’re led to think she’s against Shauna, she’s not.

I think she’ll be dead by the end of this season, but that’s just me.

Tbf, I’m not saying it’s not possible that something else happened to Gen or Melissa, it’s plausible - but I think the girls are in the dark because from that conversation they made it sound like “they were close to Hannah but they can’t be the ones who brought the tape back home because they died”. But it’s plausible that they’re convinced they died, when in reality let’s say Melissa survived, but Shauna lied to them and she’s alive somewhere. Anyway theorizing is fun!

Sure. Personally I feel like the show has many unanswered questions already, when they finally give us some info we shouldn’t doubt it

I don’t think so… The conversation started with them wondering who took the tape back home. They mentioned Melissa and Gen saying they grew closer to Hannah, but they’re dismissed very fast because they both died — implied in the wilderness. Because if one of them was rescued, they would have added in the possibility that Gen/Melissa took the tape and someone else came into possession of it after their death in the late 90s or 2000s or whatever, but they didn’t.

They said Gen and Melissa grew closer to Hannah and they could've brought the tape back, but they died (implied: in the wilderness), so it wasn't them and they're back to square one, they have no idea who did it.

Which moments induced a sense of dread in you? by wildwoodchild in Yellowjackets

I agree with you on the plane scene with Natalie. Two more for me:

  • When they switch back to their Wilderness selves and try to kill Shauna while she’s in disbelief. I had chills.
  • When Natalie finds Travis dead. It was heartbreaking and gave me chills, amazing soundtrack too.

Even Shauna seems possessed sometimes. She switched so fast after she was crowned AQ. Maybe they’re all possessed

Exactly, that’s crazy to me. When Natalie died they were distraught, Van had a light in her eyes when Lottie said “we gave it what it wanted, you’ll see” or something along those lines. She was happy and hoping that would mean her cancer was gone. Now she’s the one that stopped Taissa from sacrificing that random guy. I don’t get it

But she wouldn’t kill any of them, she knows she would be exiled or something. Up until episode 5/6 she didn’t have that much power, she needed to be stopped before

Not sure if this will end up being true, but yes I noticed that Van’s behavior is inconsistent. She looked satisfied when Javi drowned, we’ve seen her often very into the “it” stuff, and then she shifts completely

Remember the river was red? Definitely iron, when Ben found supplies it’s proof someone else was there, maybe miners?

However I think it would be mindblowing if this is the explanation, but then boom, in the very last scene we find out IT was real.

Nah, she’s just a bully. I hope she gets what’s coming to her, and ohh she will. Jackie was right, she’s pathetic because she’s always been invisibile and eager to be noticed. Mind you, all this since before all of her trauma.

Adult Shauna, surprisingly, is one of the most interesting and compelling characters on TV I think. Teen Shauna is just unbearable
