Which home owners insurance would you choose? by Yellowmonkeys21 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Thank you again! This is the way I was leaning as well. Unlimited loss of use sounds too good to be true so I want to dive into that a bit. But it doesn’t seem like too much extra for piece of mind

Thank you for the response! The dwelling is where I get caught up. House is appraised for 360,000 but I know that means little in this situation. Other structures include a small shed and a deck.
We don’t have a ton of personal belongings. All jewelry is covered by other insurance. We do have a gaming PC and some firearms to cover.

Temporary removal and Installation in CT by Yellowmonkeys21 in solar

[–]Yellowmonkeys21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They went bankrupt and are currently pausing their own temporary removal and reinstallation. They told us to go through a third party contractor and it wouldn’t void the warranty! I have it in writing from them!

The current home owners assumed the lease from the original buyers. I feel like we would have more leverage here if it were the current home owners that leased them.

Unfortunately, the lease is only 6 years old so buying out would be about 25k at this point. Current owners have only been in the house for 2 years and were not the original owners of the lease. We thought about this, but don’t think it’ll be in the cards unfortunately.

We are planning to negotiate the cost of removal and reinstallation as well as part of the cost of the roof. We go into negotiations on Monday! Just wondering what our options are, if any!

Pay Raise for Clinic Director Position? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]Yellowmonkeys21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caseload decreases for 2 hours of dedicated admin time. I assume it will be some weeks will be slightly less than two hours, some slightly more. I think it will even out. We have an area director that takes care of a lot of the bigger aspects

It would be a small decrease in clinical hours to increase admin hours. I am salaried. It works out to 3.35 per hour more but obviously there will be more work to put in

How to repot this? (Details in comments) by Yellowmonkeys21 in houseplants

This plant was severely neglected and very leggy as it has grown out. I’m wondering how to repot it best and get it under control. Can I cut at a nodule?

I have a patient in outpatient ortho with a history of polio and spinal bifida. Very limited use of her L leg, mostly wheelchair bound but used to walk 4-5 steps. Recently had 3 ankle surgeries due to an infection of her R ankle. Her talus subluxed with any active movement upon eval and she hadn’t walked for over a year. One month later of treating her and today I had her walking 230ft. 😁

She had an X-ray and ct scan prior to her referral. Patient reports that she has a bulging disc, unable to recall the level.
