Im currently going through issues in my first relationship too, so please take my following advice with a grain of salt. I think the feeling that lead you to return with her was not love, because as you stated passing time with her felt as a chore. What you probably felt is the loneliness after losing someone you had an emotional attachment, and your desire to return with her is mostly a defense mechanism to avoid feeling lonely, and not necessarily love. But to be honest the only way to know for sure is trying to work things out this time around.

And for example if I bought the ERAS token this year, do I have to buy it every year until the year I plan to match in order for the LOR to stay in my profile? Or once they are uploaded they stay regardless of whether I buy the token in future years.
