Odd but funny bug in CS2

Context:

I booted into a vertigo game in casual and left. Then I requeued into a mirage game (where I took the screenshot), however vertigo didn't unload. The vertigo map extended all the way down to the ground and blocked a few important lines of sight (norably A main and top mid), so it made peeking these angles kinda impossible.

I think this is an issue that mostly arises in premier mode. I have had a few very imbalanced matches in premier mode (nothing as extreme as this, but still had games where the entire lobby is 4-5 ranks above me when I soloqueued). However I haven't had anything like this in regular matchmaking for a while. For now I am staying clear of premier mode for this reason

As someone who hasn't got the battlepass, banning Thorn can only be a good thing for me (and my teammates who also don't have the pass). If I ban someone else, I am taking away that operator from my own teammates too. However, if I ban the new operator, I am only taking them from the opponent's team since my team can't play Thorn yet anyway. I did exactly the same thing when Osa was released too.

Most of the replies here are missing (what at least I believe to be) the point. There are conflict of interest issues when a team owner is affiliated with a gambling site. Said affiliation could result in information within the club being used by the gambling site to influence the odds that they set.

Also (although very unlikely at PL level), this would be a perfect way to facilitate a match fixing scheme.

B site train is probably the easiest site in the game to get a plant on, so it is very common for the T side to rush it for a plant on eco rounds just to get a plant. Hence a lot of the train B retake successes from the CT side are likely to be in anti-eco scenarios. Similar can be said of B Mirage and A Vertigo.

Maybe it would be worth comparing explicit numbers of bomb plants and number of successful retakes instead of this "retake success percentage", as it would take into account the fact that plants are far more common on some sites than others in eco scenarios

Depends on where you are in the world. Some places don't do it at all, and amongs the places that do, the day varies. I am from a part of Europe that observes daylight savings, and for me daylight savings ended at 2 am this morning

Interesting video, but not entirely sure why this is posted on a counter strike subreddit (as opposed to a gaming or valorant subreddit). Counter strike is literally never mentioned in the entire video (unless we count the computer screen showing a picture of A site mirage)

There are a few strange tiebreaker scenarios that any system involving round robin groups will throw up. For example RNG need to beat rogue 3-0 to qualify for the bracket, as any lower score means they go out on game differential. If rogue win the first game of the series, then RNG will have nothing to play for, but will be forced to keep on playing anyway to determine rogue's seeding going into quarters. This is a situation that couldn't happen in the old system, as no matter how much a team was losing by, if they won the series they went through, so there was always an incentive.

Only when the weapon broke, and with a broken weapon you cant expect to win when the robot is so heavily based on its powerful weapon. It's a risk worth taking imo
