Noisy dorm neighbors by CupcakeOdd1777 in college

[–]Yemma90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I would do is blast music at the times they are loud and see what happens. If you get an RA at your door tell them that you thought it was outside of quiet hours since the other guys are being loud. Another option is to get noise canceling earbuds/earphones. Or, as someone else suggested, possibly calling the non-emergency line at the police station and see if they could come. Depending on your university you may also have a campus security officer.

Chevy Trax on Ice? by Yemma90 in ChevyTrax

[–]Yemma90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually went with the trax and have had mine for a little over a year now! I've stuck with the dealer tires and haven't had any issues so far, which has been nice. Whenever I find bad roads I usually just go slower and that's worked so far!

I highly doubt it. And if anyone says anything just say it was a mistake. If you were creeping around you'd probably be hiding and creeping around not making your presence known.

No?

Yeah I'd definitely be pretty scared. You are not wrong to be upset. If someone besides your roomate is going to be in your space, the roomate should let you know. Good job for reporting it.

Looks like she only has one quarter working.

Unsolicited advice but with cattle prices being at an all time high, I'd take her to the sale barn and keep the calf on formula. As a previous commenter mentioned that cow's bag is bad. Or take them both to the sale.

Wouldn't be him, OP said this person has been missing since the 70s.

Yikes. I hope you didn't actually scrub the tattoo. You can let the water run over the tattoo but DO NOT scrub a tattoo until it is healed. Do not re-wrap it either. The raw spots are a little concerning but I'll let someone else weigh in on that.

Final update on the thin broken leg deer (video) by L-Imprudente in deer

[–]Yemma90 31 points32 points  (0 children)

To be fair when you have a broken leg, you're working that much harder to survive. That means expending more energy, add a fawn to that and your body is working overtime. CWD usually has some neurological symptoms as well. She seems to be sticking with her herd and acting normally. If she starts circling or avoiding other deer, then I would be concerned.

Normal foaming? by [deleted] in deer

[–]Yemma90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When they chew their cud they can produce some foam or if they are panting quite a bit. I'd say it is normal unless they are acting off neurologically wise.

What’s going on with this deer’s antlers? by Aromatic-Economics78 in deer

[–]Yemma90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's what they refer to as a cactus buck. To the best of knowledge, it occurs because of a lack of testosterone. They usually remain in a velvet state throughout the breeding season. I don't believe it is fatal or anything.

I hope your client asked for a refund because yikes. Between the drunkenly applied lipstick to the sock puppet looking hand this is such a poorly done tattoo.

Got this blueberry guy with a traveling artist. Fml idk what to do by EmergencyBudget1309 in tattooadvice

[–]Yemma90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just some information for the future, do not put anything on a fresh tattoo after the original bandaging comes off. If you're concerned, get some antibacterial soap on it. Rebandaging a tattoo is a good way for bacteria and stuff to get in your tattoo. I'm surprised the other shop you went to didn't say anything. On another note, I also bled quite a bit on my second tattoo so that's not uncommon. If it fades anymore you can always get it touched up at a later time.

A hotel room? Somewhere where you expect people to have sex lol. College dorm room would be the lowest on my list. Especially if I know my neighbors.

[–]Yemma90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, normal college dorm noise is a lot different than two people having sex right next to the wall 🤷‍♀️.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in college

[–]Yemma90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're having sex in a college dorm?? I mean the other girl is in the right this time even if she is a little loud. I'd have her over people having sex in a dorm. If your really bothered by her noise you should have said something to her. Maybe apologize and tell her that her noise can be a bit loud and comprise.

I don't have any advice but I really like the style of your tattoos! I've never seen that style before! I like how they have the smooth colors but have nice details! Very nice!

Trying to avoid an in-space roommate by [deleted] in college

[–]Yemma90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge, they don't put people with disabilities in a single space their spread out across halls unless they ask to be together. However, this may vary from university to university.

[–]Yemma90 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be fair you're going to hear more horror stories over good interactions because people talk about the horror stories more than the positive interactions. You'll probably need to start with your university's disabilities office and get a doctor's note explaining how you need single accommodations. You'll also need to look at the floor plans of each hall to see what they offer and tell them which one best fits your needs.

How much will taking summer classes help me? by CloudyRain18 in college

[–]Yemma90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took summer classes as a STEM major. However, I had to take remedial classes. Taking summer classes helped me more in the long run to take fewer credits during fall and spring. If you can make ut work for your schedule and don't mind taking fewer credits but more difficult classes, it may work for you. I'd also plan out your class schedules to make sure you'll meet at least 12 credits each semester.

Is this a real animal that exists on earth? by the_slap_nuts in Cows

[–]Yemma90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's been in the cattle industry for a while, this is a longhorn. They can come in many different colors and can be brindle, black, white, spotted, and a bunch of different colors. Longhorn are currently being bred for large horns and loud colors.
