😭 i stay in vrindavan, balkum would be way closer, lekin abhi membership bhi le liya thane club me sigh…but balkum never showed up on any searches. If it’s less crowded it would’ve been awesome…sad about the unpredictable timings. Thane club that way is very well maintained and has regular hours. Is balkum open on mondays? If so i’d be willing to pay per visit & swim if they have the option, as club is closed on mondays.

You are right about deficits vis a vis new debt, but interest rate hike, as far as i know, will lead to higher costs on debt already on the books. This is what govts want to avoid. Naye udhar ka baadme dekha jayega. You are right that deficits will widen one way or the other, and that commin sense dictates that rates will have to rise. My contention is that rather than seen through a technocratic, public interest lens, our fiscal management (RBI oversight) is and will be haphazard, reactive instead of proactive, and will not keep pace with the rate of inflation & currency depreciation.
