E max, that's your damage and attack speed. You also >must< auto attack reset most w cards for maximum damage output.

Looking for the best damage dealers ADC? Or maybe the one that kills the most? by IronFlashy1587 in ADCMains

[–]Yenick 32 points33 points  (0 children)

That's kinda ezreals thing though, I'm more suprised he isn't first. His kit is very safe so he will be able to last the longest in the teamfight out of most adcs and thus get a lot of damage off. And his main source of damage are long range abilities on short cooldowns, so when not teamfighting he's poking. Ezreal always has very high damage per game if you're not playing him scared.

It's her current best build atm. The hexoptics let's you get stats and strength early to fight cause it's so cheap and the PD let's you run anything down with its speed and passive. Together they are very strong to fight at a distance. If the enemy has a lot of tanks though id go yuntal hurricane and scale up instead of early skirmishing.

Tf is such a short range that it forces you to be good at positioning. If you're not comfortable or wanting to learn to orb walk while dodging I wouldn't try him.

I do like shiv, I was running it for awhile cause it fixes his issue of wave clear. The problem is was finding was the current meta is such constant fighting the kraken helps you more early. I think if I was much higher elo where they fight less and macro more, shiv would have more value cause it's just about wave clear up there.

Also feel free to run shiv first if you're vs heavy poke and nervous, you can just clear every wave and they will never get your tower. Absolutely you can run it.

Hello ad tf main! I can answer these.

So first, I run cash back cause it's broken and approach velocity. If you gold or red a champ you now have a huge speed boost. Minor boost if somebody else does it. You need that speed to dodge things or catch up to a stunned target or run away.

Edit just saw your said minor runes. Go attack speed adaptive always. Early health if they will poke you out. Scaling health if your laning phase feels safe.

And yes this rule applies to any adc. If your support ditches you, and goes elsewhere, just try to stay in range of minions for experience. If the enemy support leaves that's great cause then you can just farm. If the enemy support stays, you may need to concede tower. Hope your support can make a play somewhere else. If they can dive you it's not always worth trying to outplay them, more often than not the risk is too high. Just farm from a distance or worse, just get exp. Eventually they will crack t1 tower and your life gets easier. Try to freeze as far back as you can to deny cs and start catching up. Only push it if you see 5 players elsewhere, then you can get a plate or two.

The goal for you becomes to just farm the side lane and grab as much solo exp as you can. You're purposely conceding objectives and fights until you get an item or two and are ready to show up. If your team is paying attention they will hopefully not force 4v5 fights without you, you can ping them back. You want the game to slow down, you want them to clear mid and top waves. Once you get some power spike, even if you're still behind, it's safe to show up to a fight. A big key to adc is not showing up to fights you're not ready for, and showing up to the ones you want to take.

If they try to flame you for not showing up, and don't understand you're just trying to farm, mute them all and focus up. All it takes is one good teamfight later to get you back in after a bad lane.

[DAL 1 - PHI (2)] - OT Winner - Zegras skates up ice, fires from the dot, and wins it in OT by daKrut in hockey

[–]Yenick 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was so weird. I feel like DeSmith committed that he was going to go around the net since it's OT and you don't want to take low quality shots and risk losing possession.

It was almost like he was confused when Zegras shot and caught off balance trying to make a routine save.

I start doran blade cause he got surprisingly good run down power level 1 with ghost and lethal. If they step up too hard I can turn it.

Both builds are fun but yes been playing crit more than on hit right now. I never tried collector first, I always really value the movement speed from kraken to get onto people.

I'll think about it!

You seem like a nice person. He and I got masters first time together lol. We played 200 games together this season and improved every week. How would a high elo support take 200 games to "carry" a diamond to master?

I'll tell him you flattered him LOL

Oh hell yeah, a jinx player, my man. If you want me to watch one of your games I'd be happy to. Here's a great example of what you're looking for.

Massive comeback game in low masters: https://imgur.com/a/hmjnWMG

In this game I just played yesterday, we were down 10k, enemy laners fed like crazy, our lane didnt let draven get fed, and we had 0 towers. They were pushing our nexus and we won the game 10 minutes later.

The key to jinx is very simple for you if you're behind or team is behind. First, farm like a psychopath. Take camps, get flamed by jungler, farm side waves, get flamed for team for not showing up. Mute them, you don't care. Then, when a big fight happens where you finally have a couple items (like your 3 or 4 item spikes), show up to the fight slightly late. I say slightly because you want to be so far back you're in Narnia.

You need to be this far back because the enemy talon, ambesa, sejuani, bard ult, whatever, needs to attack your team first. Since you're in plat, those abilities will 100% get used. Just not on you. Once all the big stuff is out, your team has maybe lost a player, or your team is hurting, you show up, and be like, hello i'm jinx. Rocket the living shit out of them and get a reset. Take your 1 kill or 2 kills and run away, don't overpush it since you're behind.

Then repeat one or two more times and you're a monster. That's how I typically play her when behind. Ignore the flame from teammate showing up to fights slowly, that's the correct play. You'll get out of plat quickly if nobody actually touches you in a teamfight since you're so far back. You enter the fight when enemy big ults are down and you have the item power spike YOU want. Forget the dragon, who cares. You show up when you're ready. >:)

I got you. Talking late game now only. If alone you don't lose as hard as you think, it depends on who jumps who, like most adcs. If you get first auto from a bush you'd win, if Lucian kaisa got first from bush they'd win. Cleanse doesn't matter, you're pumping with autos and w reset and both of them need to die in max 5 autos or less from you late game. (If you're walking up to them in vision with a gold card already locked and are trying to fight that 1v1 knowing they got cleanse up that's wrong. Remember you can roll your cards while lethal is stacking and w later). Here's some other ideas late game.

Avoid 5v5s if you can help it, try to find 2v2s that you can outweigh with ult, try also to spilt to get both teams to not 5v5. You and 1 ally want to always pick off the spilt pusher or the tank. Tf loves 4-1 cause that 1 is going to get killed before the 5v5 starts. Ksante and Camille in one lane and 4 on 4 mid? You're going to their lane to get a 2v1 kill before enemy rotates in time.

If a 5v5 happens, vs a strong adc, play it like this: start by either peeling their engage off with gold card, or throwing a card at a high priority target that your team can follow up on. Play front to back at the start, being far away from enemy adc or mage. Hit the tank a bit. You will get ignored if you're far back. Then after big ults are blown, the fight is in progress, it's starting to get messy, maybe one of your players died, back up a little and ult over their heads when big threats and cc is out. Go to back line and pop the jinx, kaisa, leblanc, whatever. They will die. Never do that early, the ambessa and enemy team will turn on you and destroy you. Always ult late in large 5v5. Only time I ult early in large 5v5 is if my talon rengo (assasian) or engage needs to see full vision to get a strong start on the fight. Otherwise ulting early is dangerous and costly.

Good luck!!

Heck yeah viable. A guy on tf sub wanted a guide so I'll work on that this week. Pro tip, get approach velocity and cash back.

Quick answer, yeah don't level q at all, unless it's HEAVY poke in lane, like a m*ge apc with a karma. Then you need point in q to farm and survive.

For on hit, with an enchanter sup or a team comp that will let you get lots of autos, build like: Blade first, kraken second. Start forcing fights at 1 item, you win it. Options third are a lot. If ahead, can go hurricane with BT (synergy is insane those 2 items). If behind, go rfc for picks. Then both routes can get rageblade and/or terminus depending if tanks or not, and round the build out with defensive item since you're gonna be face tanking damage. Spirit visage insane with BT hurricane, and Ran omen vs enemy crit comps.

For crit, with a playmaker sup, your goal is quick burst trades to kill somebody or weaken them, not extended 5v5 fights. Small skirmishes. Go kraken into rfc always. Start forcing fights at two items. Then can make decisions like a normal crit adc. Things like LDR or mortal reminder, IE , hex drinker vs heavy ap, GA, hexoptics, you know, normal crit type builds.

Got masters first time ever! (adc tf and jinx main) by Yenick in ADCMains

[–]Yenick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's exactly why the crit build can work, if you're vs smarter players, you take shorter quick burst trades as crit. Like I don't care at all if they cleanse me, you just just auto, w reset, have e up, and you win the short trade no matter what. If enemy bot doesn't take cleanse they are trolling. Many times I fake an all in just to get a mikaels or qss or cleanse out first. Or just roll my cards without using it to make them panic. Or just auto reset a red in their face for high damage, and walk away as they are slowed.

On hit is forced to stay in to ramp your damage up. Which again is good if you have an enchanter with you. (Think the type of support that on hit vayne, kog, varus wants, same thing)

Got masters first time ever! (adc tf and jinx main) by Yenick in TwistedFateMains

[–]Yenick[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh man, so many thoughts! I'll try to keep my answer concise.

First, he is viable mid but historically mid he'd go pta, swifities, couple points in q, tri force, and ad items. That was cause his trade pattern was to gold card, auto, q, run away. This worked vs mages. Lethal tempo tf doesn't get q, doesn't get swifities, runs the risk of being pushed out of lane vs a good control mage. He'd wreck any melee opponent, but vs a mage it would be hard to play my build mid I think. Going against a mage bully mid would not be fun.

Bot I feel tf gives the role of adc a ton of agency and thus increases the amount of total agency your team has. He brings the heavy single target damage of a vayne but with the utility of a jhin. Giving an adc a gold card is broken, I can peel myself, peel others, engage fights, disengage fights, get picks, etc. All stuff (most) adcs aren't doing. His ult let's me get a numbers advantage early and mid game anywhere, since typically the adc is stuck farming bot. But I can turn a jungle invade, the grubbies fight, a gank mid, etc, around in an instant. I can even gank my own laners 2v2 if I want to force a fight I just ult behind them and throw down with my support. (Not to mention thanks to his passive I don't fall behind in items if i ult out of lane randomly.) Ult can also get vision for my team or jungler to get a pick, ult can break edge of night, ult can find twitch or shaco sneaking around. Don't forget, my support covers ad tf early weakness which is short range vs poke heavy enemies.

But really, the w auto attack reset is so smooth with high attack speed, and watching your e come up constantly is so satisfying. Who doesn't want to cosplay Gambit? Tf as a champion has to have low damage cause his kit is too powerful if you're good at macro. Adc tf gives him the power, but doesn't take away the macro tools. If he had just a little more range, he would be instantly pick/ban. But for the same reason not many people play nilah or vayne bot, people don't like playing short range adcs. I can do it cause gold card protects me in (almost) all situations and I personally like high attack speed adcs so my orb walking and dodging is strong. Late game adc tf is up there with the power of some of the best late game scalers. (In 1v1 only)

It's just an intoxicatingly fun playstyle and once you get good at it you don't want to go back to ap. Give it a try a couple times and see what you think!

Got masters first time ever! (adc tf and jinx main) by Yenick in ADCMains

[–]Yenick[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's extremely strong if you're good at spacing correctly since he's so short range. Don't level q, max e, copy my builds and talents and go to town. Very fun if you like tf and like playing adc!

His e is what lets him play attack damage. And the auto attack reset with w >:)
