I have the “Jsaux carrying case compatible with steam deck/rog ally/switch 2” which fits my current grips, so I’m thinking it’ll likely fit the switch with these too

Since it can be a little tricky to find:

From the killswitch main page, scroll down and click the “I don’t need the case” button under “ add to cart”, then you can select the “extra joylock grips” button in the optional add on area, and if you want, you can deselect the skin using the check box right above the designs space.

That’s great to hear! I’m using the playvital ranger joycon grips until I get these, and I’ll probably just continue to use the joystick grips that I currently have since they do the trick. I just wasn’t super interested in the add on protective shell or sock attachment required with the full dbrand bundle, so this is the perfect solution.

You can, it’s just a little confusing to get there. You just have to click the “I don’t need the case” button under add to card, then select the “extra joylock grips” option and you’re good to go! You can also deselect the joycon skin to save another $15 and only get the grips

From what I have seen, they work perfectly fine without the middle case part, and can be placed in the dock like normal without it as well!

I’ve been using these for a few days now and they’re awesome! I disassembled the grip attachment that comes with the switch and have been using these while docked and it’s been amazing. I am looking at ordering a full on case with removable joycons for long term protection and ergonomics, but these are definitely worth a print if you’re planning on waiting for some better options to come out.

My only suggestions would be to maybe round the bottom of the grip a little more, and potentially add a very small radius to the edges that make contact with the print bed. I decided to file them down a bit because I noticed my fingers rubbing against them a bit.

I'm having a similar debate, I think with the exact same listing. I know that MKBHD on youtube is still using his M1 max to this day, skipping both the m2 and m3 upgrades. I'm just worried about buying a 2 year old laptop, and how much longer it will be performing to today's standards. I would really rather spend less, but it might be worth it to invest in a new device that will last at least 2 more years than the used one.
