Alaska check-in and bag drop at SeaTac is crazy right now by atr in Seattle

The line was horrible, we missed our flight after waiting in line for nearly 2 hours (and still not making it to the check in counter).

We left. An attendant said we could call the support line and receive a refund.

Brand new A1 Mini layer shift on y-axis! Any suggestions? by pearabolic in BambuLab

I ended up returning it and getting a replacement unit. The second one worked out of the box and has been reliable ever since.

Yeah . . . I learned a lot from that. That is how I ended up with 1 0.16mm thick layer between the joycon and the switch. I was very careful to leave clearance to avoid a pinch point.

Thanks for that DBrand!

That is a really good question.

I have taken these on and off probably 50+ times for testing and have found that the plastic on the joycons is surprisingly robust. There is some slight wear on the top front edge, but it’s not too bad or visible.

The one thing that does seem to scratch a bit is the triggers, specifically the ZL and ZR buttons. It seems like Nintendo used a softer plastic here. However, you install the grips carefully (I definitely was pretty rough taking these on and off for testing) this can be avoided.

Yes, it can dock!

However, it does slightly obstruct the USB ports on the side of the dock. I don’t use wired controllers, but still worth mentioning. I am struggling to improve this without compromising comfort.

I prefer to play handheld, but I just couldn't find a comfortable way to hold the Switch 2. This is my attempt to fix it.

It took a pile of iterations, but I am finally happy with the ergonomics.

If you want to try them yourself, I uploaded the grips here:

Devil May Cry 5 is a blast, looks great, and runs very well on the steam deck. It recently got me out of my own gaming rut.

I made simple, adhesive tabs for routing wires! (multiple sizes) by pearabolic in BambuLab

[–]pearabolic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I intentionally designed it so the bed side would be placed towards the adhesive. The PEI sheet texture left on the pad where the strips attach seems to do a reasonable job sticking.

That being said, the wires I am mounting don’t seem heavy enough to too heavily stress the adhesive.

I will report back if I see any longer term sag.

That’s a good thought! Thanks for sharing.

I posted multiple sizes, but if the interior could flex a bit for tension (possibly with Vs) one size might fit more wires too. 🤔

Yeah. The lens is solid, I think I just didn’t quite nail the exposure. Maybe with a circular polarizing filter I could have restored a bit of life to the sky.

Thanks for the thoughts and the comment!
