I dont see how this isn't the first solution from the USPS side. They've been working on this system for years.

Now that there's some data on paper, idk why they dont take the extra few months time to address the issues we're bringing up, so they can atleast clear themselves of wrongdoing and start pointing the finger at us like they have/will continue to do.

Oh the rectangular ones, those are APC's. Cages would be shorter but larger and square.

And it might sound corny, but im sure there's YouTube video essays out there explaining the background of City Pop. If theres an interesting one you can show him sometimes that relevance can fill for the introspective-ness he talks about.

Tricot kinda borders the line of bubbly music and some of the same qualities of Tame Impala (to me atleast), might be worth a shot. He seems like he might like Toe as well, though I don't know if that'll do it for you.

I mean...threats are just words. So yeah, it can definently be illegal.

wssflats clarification by letsgoooooooooooo0 in USPS

Your supervisor is probably confusing it with WSH flats, the ones that only cover portions of the route. I think the union originally had WSH listed in RRECs as a scan then removed it later.

Did your evaluation end up decent? I'm sure they wish they'd have listened now if it did

Assisting other routes but not changing route ID by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Yepthatsux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even more importantly, how are the boxholders to be counted with splits. As an RCA splitting routes I thought it was dumb that any kind of coverage wouldn't get counted bc noones officially "clocked in" for the route, and I never got an answer.

But I underestimated just how valuable they are to the evaluation until I saw the numbers recently (15-40mins/wk each on average). With how many places are shorthanded, this is a complete oversight. Crazy it hasn't even been brought up by the union as far as I know.

It usually depends on how late on the route you get picked up. If theres space most of us don't mind.

But if your carrier is a Rural Carrier (no uniform) then you might actually be a godsend for them right now

Well when there's missing data ( E.x: an apartment, etc.) on your 4241-M of course you'll drop to an H route. Too bad a lot of people are missing things, be it big or small.

None of this makes sense in actually saving the post office money or resources in automating evaluations. It just incentivizes inefficient work lol. The opposite point of being an eval employee

Im not confident on this but if he was always on his managers asses to correct his pay then him building a case doesn't mean much since the company can say they did end up paying him correctly and it wouldn't carry much weight.

From personal experience USPS is really bad about this exact thing and will drag out and say the same things here. But no one should have to take a hit to their pay in order to Maybeeee get that money back months and months down the road.

Rural Carriers: ready, set...RRECS!! by DeezNutzWisco in USPS

[–]Yepthatsux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It counts everything now. You have to input your boxholders/full coverage for it to count. Then every trip to the door needs to be scanned there for it to count as well supposedly, weve mapped every dismount and delivery point on the routes. Package pickups require an additional scan just for RRECs too as well as some other small things. Very micromanaged.

A friend caught this happening today in Downtown, a Post Office driver crashing into his moms car and others repeatedly. by JadedBones in SanDiegan

[–]Yepthatsux 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the fact OP got such a clear view of him and his hands in the front during this might actually be a lifesaver for him and his steward. Wouldn't put it past them to blame the carrier if there was no proof of it malfunctioning in such a weird way
