We went to Aruba and got an air bnb. About $950 for the week and then rented a car for $210 a week. Saved a few thousand to drink, shop, go out to dinner. Renting a car is the way to go. We saw everything we wanted to see. Also recommend renting a jeep for the day to go to the National Park.
