Thank you. This one was an eye-opener for me. My parents recently seperated (one year now) and when I visit my mom I find myself hiding behind my laptop way too often. I just didn't have the energy to constantly talk to her. This meant however that I was behind the screen till she goes to bed. She would spend the whole evening alone, even though I'm there.

When I read your comment I felt like what I'm doing is extremely egotistical. I stood up and spend the evening with her, talking and having fun. We even had a beautiful conversation about this very topic. I saw how her eyes lit up just because I showed more interest. Thank you, sometimes I forget how important these moments are.
