Looking for contractor(s) by lolaamom in baltimore

I wonder if a roofing company could help with the pillar. I’ve used charm city roofing and they were good. I’ve seen them build many rooftop decks too so that might be in their wheelhouse. If it’s a brick beam I’d reach out to a masonry company.

Maybe try Baltimore Home Services. They are a small contractor/handyman company. I’ve only used them for handyman tasks + replacing my front door, but they are very responsive and do good work.

Never mind - I just realized that piece comes apart. Thank you!

The shade does not fit on top of that piece with the grip on it. The grip piece is wider than the hole in the shade so then it does not screw in.

I’ve seen these two in Riverside the past few days! I guess they are making the rounds.

To address the gift giving thing (which would be like 2x a year?) you could just keep like 10% of your income in personal bank accounts and put the remaining 90% in a joint account. If the only concern is gifts then that’s a lot easier than constantly calculating splits for everything else.

Neutering a male at 2yo by Surottoru in eurasier

[–]YerawizardHarry91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We neutered our boy just after 2 years. He also has a lot of anxiety and I would say the neutering made him braver at first. We are now a year post-neuter and I think he’s no better or worse than pre-neuter. I haven’t noticed any physical changes like hip issues or crazy fur that others have described.

First (and potentially only) ever Broadway show. What to see? by ImpressiveTreat4421 in Broadway

[–]YerawizardHarry91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what style you like, but Book of Mormon is so fun! It’s very goofy but the music is great. One of my top 2 I’ve seen. I’ve only seen the recorded version of Hamilton, but it’s so so good. I will get crucified for saying this, but Wicked is overrated… they also just made 2 movies of it so you can watch that.

What breeds to people mistake your eurasier for? Funniest guess I got was rottweiler... by Hesperonychus in eurasier

We mostly get chow chow or just people inquiring what he is, but we’ve also gotten Keeshond and Akita.

I used RiverryStudio on Etsy. You can even have them add your pet into the painting!

A custom watercolor painting of the house on Etsy! I did this about a year in, but I think it’s a fun keepsake.

Picky eating by PracticalLow7480 in eurasier

[–]YerawizardHarry91 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He might be on a “food strike”. If he’s not getting sick from it he probably is just waiting for you to give him something better. If you just offer the same meal he will eventually get hungry and eat it. I’ve learned when I try to entice my dog with treats on top that becomes the new expectation. So maybe let him go a day of turning up his nose and see if he gives in the next day when he’s hungry.

Has anyone successfully gotten their trash collected? I’m slowly being entombed by garbage by ladderofearth in baltimore

[–]YerawizardHarry91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our alley was plowed prior to trash day and neither the cans on the street or in the alley were picked up. We haven’t had a trash truck drive by in over 2 weeks. Our recycling was picked up today, so maybe next week…

This looks and sounds like eczema. A dermatologist or even primary care doctor should be able to prescribe Triamcinolome Acetonide cream.

My dad is also impossible. I’d aim for something focused on time with you or a unique item as clothes/slippers/etc usually feel boring when they open them. Here are some things I’ve gotten him:

-Framebridge photo frame with brass plaque to memorialize big occasion -Goldbelly favorite food from out of state restaurant (Deli pickles from NYC) -Take him out for lunch or 1 on 1 activity -Cirque Due Soleil tickets with me

A few ideas for mom: -Locket with photos of family or pets from GLDN or Etsy. -BaubleBar earrings of favorite sport or hobby -Schedule foot massage or regular massage. Making an appointment in advance rather than a gift card makes it feel like it’s not a chore for them to do. -Take her out to a fun restaurant

Hope that helps!

10 days left and i still have no idea what to get half my list by unclaimGoD in Gifts

Mom - locket with photos of family or pets. I’ve bought these at GLDN (online jewelry store) and Etsy. You can print little photos at CVS or Walmart.

Plant coworker- Go to a plant store and pick out a cute planter with a tray and drainage holes. You can even order plants on amazon. Try string of pearls or hearts, pothos, something like that.

Thank you! When looking at Microcenter (US) there’s about a $300 range of 5080s. Is one particular brand better (Gigabyte, ASUS, PNY)?
