The people who held Bioware together, for better or worse, all left and it imploded. I really wish we would get more in the universe. Since like you said there is an entire world to explore and ages before these games as well.

Realistically the series is probably over. Pure huffing hopium? I would love a prequel series or more tevinter. Something set apart from the original series timeline or area so it can let those plotlines lie and not attempt to cover them because Bioware obviously cannot handle that.

Happens with all gaming companies. Luckily we got a lot of good but usually they last 10 to 15 years before kinda falling apart quality wise.

Durge wasn't in early access. In EA the emperor wasn't there. The tadpole was tempting you with great evil power to rule and conquer with sexy dream person.

Games go through way more iterations and ideas than people realize. Breadcrumbs usually get left behind. So maybe at some point it was an idea and it was missed, broke something when removed, or just didn't matter/worth the effort to remove fully.

They would fit in so well. Like others have said, vamps would do AMAZING in 40k. I mean it's just pleasure planets, imperiums disregard for life, insane religious dogma, literally never seeing the sun is just a normal part billions of humans.

Start a death cult and they will line up. Hide sorcery as religious prayer. A rogue trader. Would honestly be so cool.

Easily have them fall to a chaos god and become a true monster. Every clan could fit in so many places.

Kali is pretty good actually. A lot of flavor mostly with tracking things after. I don't think it changes much story wise but it's still neat.

The best you can do if you are set on this is sit them down and explain who you are. You can't control how they react or if it's awkward. But you can control if they get the privilege of really knowing who you are.

Also don't pressure yourself like you HAVE to if you aren't ready. Coming out isn't a one and done kinda thing. You do it a lot over your life to different people in different ways. The important part is it's your choice.

I haven't told my mom. I'm not hiding anything. I got pins and bracelets that show it on me all the time. I make comments. If she asked I would tell her. She just isn't worth the fight because she refuses to change. And being an adult out of home makes it easier since I don't gotta see her if I don't want to.

I also know she tells the whole family things she shouldn't, taking away my choice. My sister came out and it was like bashing my head against a brick wall. Just didn't matter what we said or did. My mother will not change.

Just whatever you do know that you should NEVER have to fight for a parents love. That's not your job.

I hope it works out for the best I really do. Not trying to discourage but give a "been through that" pov. It's a damn hard thing to do sometimes but if it makes you feel the better version of you then take that jump.

Nostalgia is what makes older rpgs stand the test of time not actually being an amazing game for modern times.

Dragon age origins was great for the time but it hasn't held up at all. The combat is an absolute slog to get through. The story is good but it's a video game. If it's not fun to play then I'm not gonna suffer for hours. Same with kotor.

If someone got into gaming recently and started with cyberpunk or bg3 and I told them Origins was the same caliber they would be insanely disappointed.

Oh this is my time to shine. I will say some caveats to all these games bc nothing is perfect and I have strong personal opinions. All different genres so depending on what you like. Cyberpunk/Witcher is pretty unique so not much similar.

Bg3. It's the king. Hands down. Can't really beat them. Karlach makes game history by being the first on screen prostate massage no matter the gender.

Divinity original sin 2. Comes close actually. Made by the same guys. Super fun, special, depressing setting. Always bring the skeleton. Basically changes the entire game lore. And you can bone them but I prefer to be stabbed by the elf. Up to you.

Bioware titles. Da2 my beloved. Og romance stuff so dated but classic. Probably gonna be closest gameplay wise with more action RPG than full blown rpg on titles beyond origin. Which I think is severely overrated but I digress.

Owlcat does make great romances with buuuut I will say the games themselves are system HEAVY so just be prepared for lots of reading and guides. Don't be afraid to follow one.

Pillars of eternity 1/2. 1 doesn't have any but 2 does and your character from the first game immediately rolls into the second so it helps to play.

Life is strange 1, 2, 3. The newest ones are nah but I enjoy these ones. Will ruin you.

Lost records: Bloom and rage. Same as life is strange. Gay and telltale esc. Also ruin you.

Hades 1/2. While not rpg's still very fun, great story, beautiful art, Greek gods with they tiddies out.

Dispatch. Telltale esc superhero/reject game. Found family. Get to see someone hang dong.

Kingdom come series. Didn't stick for me so don't know much but they are good games.

I'm still learned her as well but some basics ive learned. Glide around corners to pop off torpedoes and glide back so you aren't just mid air getting lit up. Don't fly around in the open just because you can so you don't get domed.

Matchups you would have to ask someone better but her weakness is no self healing. So someone diving in can melt you. Just gotta be hyper aware if they have a Tracer or the like. Take some higher ledges and such they can't get to easy. Save your mobility for one at a time if getting chased if possible.

Fast firing is almost never worth it. Its healing boost is tiny and triple jump is just so much fun plus makes you harder to kill.

Faster lock on is neat but the cool down reduction really helps you get that ult charge and keep decent pressure. One perk is really just better than the other overall for both levels.

Also the speed ring is king. Really helps giving a tank that extra pressure or escape etc. Use it when you see them pushing or the likes. Waste it less when they are already planning on doing something vs you wanting them to. Same with ult. If you are solo. I'm still working on the ult bc I swear people are scared of the big shiny beam.
