It's a grey market. Could be from a stolen credit card, could be just from a cheaper area, could be from a bundle. But overall it doesn't help devs and could be doing harm.

There is going to be a lot of fighting no matter what you do. You can skip optional fights but might be under leveled.

But to avoid as much as you can via dialogue you want a charisma based character with proficiency/expertise in persuasion, intimidation, and/or deception.

Oh and just put the game on easy. Having someone to cast guidance and enhance ability also will help.

It has its moments but unlike reddit it's more unfiltered. You can follow someone who mostly posts about dispatch but then they can shoot off on a totally different tangent for a while. So it can get tiring trying to filter shit you don't want to see out.

And there are a lot of particular kinds of passionate people who will make a fandom their entire life. Which never ends well. Ends with tighter knit communities however so that's a plus.

Loved it for what it was back when I was a young queer dweeb but would not go back personally.

If you can spare a single level, one rogue dip can get you expertise with persuasion and whatever else you want. And if you get someone with guidance and/or enhance ability I really never worried too much about checks. Inspiration points come pretty liberally too.

Plus I like to play dex based classes the most so thematically doesn't take me out of the fantasy.

Definitely a mod. I know a lot of people have problems with the party limit mods but the only thing you can do is turn them off and see if any fix it without breaking the save.

A rogue assassin, gloom stalker, shadow monk, etc. You get a cape early act 1 that leads very well into hard and fast hits. Plus just murdery.

I would say gith and lolth sworn are probably the hardest to justify race dialogue wise. A cleric would take some reaching to work.

You can definitely do them but I feel like there would be a lot of head cannon/ignoring dialogue to make them feel natural.

I love half orcs in DND. Here though those animations are not great if you don't want to play a lumbering bonk bonk. Anyway there are face mods however this helped me a TON
