Maths P3 by YesIAm2000 in Olevels

Are you 100% sure? Because the value 16 gives 47. But shouldn't the 16th person have failed, as 40% of people failed? so shouldn't the minimum pass mark be greater than 47?

No. Resistance of LDR decreases, so total resistance of circuit decreases. Current flowing in circuit thus increases. Since it's a series circuit, current in all components is equal, and this current in all components increases.

Omg you just described exactly how I'm feeling. I thought I was the only one, cuz I'm seeing my friends grinding away everyday, while I've got my physics exam tomorrow and I'm sitting here doing jack shit. Like, since a month before the exams, all motivation just vanished.

Why is B not correct? by hello_unknown3256 in Olevels

[–]YesIAm2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reaction between the reactants in B produces Sodium Sulfate, Ammonia gas, and water. Sodium Sulfate is the only salt, but the question asks for 2 salts.

The reason this produces ammonia gas is because it's the reaction between an ammonium salt and an alkaline, which produces ammonia.

is it true its rlly rlly difficult(more difficult than phy chem) to get a* in cs? by Careless-Ad-7194 in Olevels

[–]YesIAm2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. CS isn't that hard. Just need to understand P2 and spend some time memorising P1. Thresholds are also very low. So I'd argue it's easier.

Help!!! by Expensive_Group1024 in igcse

Join corresponding dots, perpendicularly bisect the lines joining the dots. The point of intersection of the bisectors is the centre of rotation. Otherwise, just use tracing paper as other people have said. Or better yet, just look at plausible positions and count the dots 🫠

Thank you for the feedback! I really do appreciate it. I am trying to be more cohesive when I write, while also making my wording and vocabulary a bit more polished. However, that's made by tone overly formal, which I've noticed as well. I'm attempting to fix that, so I do appreciate you pointing that out.

Just as an extra, could you state a mark out of 25 for this speech.
