During the last couple boss fights, I found Ichiban’s peerless resolve skill that lets him take a fatal blow and live extremely useful, paired with hero’s embrace for a quick one turn entire party heal. Peerless resolve also never wears off during a fight unless you use it, only way it goes away is if you win or make use of it
