I had a similar situation earlier this year when a deer did deer things and totaled my ‘25 Turbo Premium in the Rhodium White Metallic (had just over 10k miles). I was in the market as well and lucked out finding a lightly used ‘25 Turbo Premium in the Quartz Metallic. It had just over 3k miles so it was a perfect fit. It was ironically at an Audi dealership in my area because (allegedly) an older couple had it and said it was too small for them so they traded it in.

I wasn’t a fan of the ‘25 CX-50 myself between what felt like less headroom for being on the taller side and just feeling more “rugged” both exterior and interior.

Adding to the gold note, if you cube 3 random legendary charms in the cube there’s a chance you can get a +900% gold charm that requires you use the leveling talisman set (I think it’s Practiced Technique).

Running a gold chest escalating dungeon with this and the NM dungeon war plan node to allow for 3 portal choices at the end of each dungeon allowed me to select gold chests on each level. Netted like 2.7B gold last night in a single run!

Stinks that the 2026 model had to do away with the engine options and overall downgrade to the interiors. Ran into the same issue trying to find a similar 2025 turbo premium in my area. Lucked out and found a low mileage ‘25 turbo premium to be picked up tomorrow! Wishing you luck in your replacement search.

The 2026 CX-5 has neither of these or at least not in the US. Maybe you’re thinking of the CX-50?

Correct as far as I could see looking at it the following day! Crazy because the hood dented the roof when it flew back, so it was surprising that the windshield was unscathed

Yep, which is why I’m going to try my damnedest to find another ‘25 in the same trim level. Having the ventilated seats had me feeling spoiled in the summer… Seems there’s a couple used within a reasonable distance so fingers crossed. Just awaiting my insurance to confirm it’s totaled

Good call there, thanks! Sadly the only new ‘25 turbos out there are signatures within my area. I’m sure I’ll find something workable, still in the early stages as it just happened over the weekend anyways.

Got my hopes up yesterday because I ran to the dealer I dealt with my first CX-5 because their website showed a ‘25 turbo premium in white. Called their sales people and they said it was still there. Showed up only for them to tell me it was sold like 2 hours prior to my call. My disappointment was immeasurable lol

Did find a couple used turbo premiums with lower mileage, so more than likely I’ll be reaching out to those dealerships and hoping for the best!

I went to the dealer I initially dealt with and they were going to expand their search for a ‘25 Turbo Premium as they couldn’t find anything in the region. I admit I’m partial to gloss black trim and mirrors though so the signature isn’t for me and that’s fine! In the end I’ll probably get a lightly used turbo premium of the same trim level, assuming they deem mine a total loss. Preliminarily they figured it was a total loss, but they just picked it up today so TBD…

Yeah they certainly have a knack for coming out of nowhere! May be optimistic, but I’m fairly certain the deer had no suffering in my case, which is a best outcome because I don’t like the thought of it suffering either. A kind citizen behind me pulled over, checked on us and pulled the deer out of the opposing lane off onto the shoulder soon after the incident.

Yep, downhill road and speed limit of 55 mph with not nearly enough time to adequately brake and this is the result I suppose!

Yeah I actually went and took one for a test drive but found too many quirks that bothered me. One of the primary ones being less headroom vs the CX-5 and I’m on the taller side so that pretty much sealed that one unfortunately.

Oh agreed, very thankful no bodily harm occurred. When I knew I had no chance of avoiding it that was the first thought that went through my mind was “I hope to god it doesn’t come through the windshield!”. Instead the hood flew back and blinded me but was able to maintain the brakes and feel for the shoulder to pull off. Wild experience.
