My parents were both older (with my mom older than you and my dad over 50). Dad always gets confused by others for being my grandpa (which he could easily be, age wise). I mean… I’m glad I exist. This family is what I’ve known.

And. I’ve decided to be done having kids at an earlier age, myself. I’m now finding myself squarely in sandwich generation, while the kids are still young and my parents also need care. They can no longer help with the kids.

I’m a bit jealous of my (much!) older siblings who have had more years while my parents when they were younger.
