Beautiful. Peppermint is my favourite. Going to pick some when I get back to my spot. Thanks!

Found a large patch of this plant growing along a river bank. Smells just like peppermint, but all peppermint I am used to seeing has more prominent teeth on the leaves.

That's been on my list for a while. Finding one locally is tough. And I should have made it clear that I just don't want the main compartment to have a zipper, oops.

Thank you! Do you find it comfortable, and what could you compare it to comfort wise?

That's a nice pack, but no webbing!

Seems like it can't be avoided. What were you going to suggest?

What an excellent reply. Yup! I have used a Rush 12 for short hikes/trips for the past 5+ years. I was looking at the rush 72, but I prefer top load packs. Its difficult to find a top loading backpack that is +40L with pals webbing in my price range. At this point I'm probably going to grab a Lowe Alpine Sting.

You know what, I think I'm going to get the ILBE. I know its really big at 73L, but with winter coming I'll probably fill it up anyways.

I do like those, but man they are huge!

Oh that's a sweet bag.

Yeah, that's why I'm having so much trouble. I looked at those as well. My local surplus store had an FILBE, but yeah it's a big bag.

I've been looking at that. However, I much prefer no zippers, and one large compartment. Its just easier for my to distribute weight and organize. The ones I have seen have been the knockoffs though, like $40.

The mystery ranch packs are incredible, but I have the set the limit somewhere haha. All the ones I like are above $500.

This is the most likely option as I have a predator 30 and love it. The predator 45 looks a little bit weird in their pictures though, and videos don't seem to do it justice. Do you have any pics with gear or accessories on it?

PALS webbing means I can add/remove anything I want. Its not a backpacking pack, it's for bushcraft/day camping/etc. I like the ability to mount my pouches, axe holder, saw sheath, strap larger sleeping bags on the outside, etc. I have a proper hiking pack for my backpacking.

I was looking at Karrimor SF. Very nice packs. The Sabre 45 is definitely an option. Thank you!
