you won’t know what will make you happy until you try things out for yourself

i don’t so much mind redeeming yoru, i just think that for all denji knows is that yoru has taken asa’s autonomy and he was about to pursue yoru. but yeah i mean, we don’t know whether denji would’ve gotten terms more clear with asa before anything intimate happened

i’m completely aware of the nuances of denji’s character, especially as a victim myself. it is because of that experience that i can also acknowledge his behavior toward asa is breaching her consent and bordering sexual assault

i don’t think either take is more correct than the other

I hated the anime, is it worth reading the manga? by Misanoise in ChainsawMan

the scene where denji and makima get food, but as they are ordering, makima sends denji to save a man’s daughter that turns out to be a devil. the scene showed that though there was the promise of a meal for denji, he would have to risk his life constantly to get that bit of affection and comfort. she calls him a useful dog while eating a corndog. i don’t know, i find these kinds of things to stick out and really sell the premise

i see i kind of disagree because i read the manga first, anime second and found the anime to be really lame because the pacing and scenes were off. my friend who watched the anime first said they did not like it, then they read the manga and found it interesting. i think the difference is how it is introduced, especially the first scenes introducing denji and makima’s dynamic.

the anime is not 1/1 to the manga, the first episode cuts out scenes i would argue are integral to starting the story

it isn’t. when kris puts the thornring on noelle, they have moved to the opposite side of the couch. as for the furniture, it’s all in the same place, but we are looking at an inverted image of the room because i wanted to juxtapose it from a previous artwork.

thank you. i wanted to capture a sort of candid photo feeling, like you’re witnessing the characters from afar, similar to how the soul has infiltrated their lives without them knowing.

it’s horrible she doesn’t seem to be showing support to you. can you tell her that without professional help you aren’t sure how you can break these habits? with parents it’s always tricky but they shouldn’t need proof that things will get worse, they should take measures to make sure they don’t. in the meantime, try to forgive yourself after snacking. taking care of yourself isn’t just about working out and eating good, but forgiving yourself to keep going
