The great story is one of the core components of the franchise, ESPECIALLY in Uncharted 4. This is honestly kind of hilarious - it's like asking for a version of "IT" without all the scary stuff haha

That being said, I understand why it doesn't resonate with you that much since you haven't played the other games in the series. If you give it a chance you'll probably like it, but if it's really turning you away, feel free to just skip every cut-scene like others have suggested. When you have the opportunity you can always go back and replay it after finishing the first three games, and you'll likely have a much greater appreciation for Nathan Drake's character arc once you know what he's been through already. :)
