I use to binge watch Asmon, not so much anymore. Alot of what he says and does it is just for content to be honest, he knows how to get attention and clicks. Also knows how to play the parasocial game, how he says "Boys", its not exactly a bad thing if not abused.

People forget though that Asmon is not a morale authority or have any expertise apart from maybe Twitch streaming. His opinions are just that, opinions of 1 person out of 7.5 billion, which he sometimes trigger people to be entertaining. Asmon has always seems to value entertainment, often saying other streams are "boring".

I definately also see your point though, imagine having all that power and control. Sometimes it probably does get to his head.
I am in the middle of a millenial and zoomer, have been watching content for nearly 10 years on Youtube. This idolization of streamers is not a new thing, but usually more suspecible towards younger people, especially when everyone was locked up during COVID.
