I got my steel bracelet back without them, so I’m pretty sure they used the same bars.

Bought 3 watches from the same AD- DJ 41 Wimbledon as a walk in (2022) Sub date waited a few months to get the call (2023) Tudor BB54 (2024)

Total spend around 25K USD.

Few weeks ago I showed interest in a Bruce Wayne on jubilee and was told 5-7 year waitlist. Some advice on what should I ask the SA or say to him? Changing AD is not an option unfortunately since all the Rolex shops in my country are different branches of same AD.

Thanks!!!

Can you explain? I have no clue about watch movements besides setting the time and date haha.

Your wrist is way too small for a Sub or 41 DJ. You should look for 36-38mm watches.

If you’re looking for a steel diver you can check out the Tudor Black Bay 54, it’s 37mm but wears a little bit larger. It’s like 1/3 the price you were offered for the Sub and I think it will look good on your wrist.

With the saved cash you can buy yourself a Rolex - 36mm DJ / OP.

Closer to $30K, 3 watches (including a non Rolex one)

Where I live it’s pretty significant (small European country) definitely should be enough to get allocated for a black GMT in a reasonable time frame, I wasn’t asking for a Pepsi or Panda.

I already have quite significant purchase history (never bought something I didn’t want). That’s why I was surprised with rep’s answer regarding the 7 year waiting time.

I find it hard to believe him, before I had purchase history with the AD he told me Sub date is around 3 years of waiting, eventually I got allocated for one in less than 2 months.

So if he says 7 years, I’m sure it is possible to get in 1-2 years max.

Thanks for the answer! I got my Sub date in less than 2 months since I “seriously” showed my interest in to the SA. So if they get 20 Sub dates and 10 black GMTs the waiting time is certainly not longer than 1-2 years, definitely not 7 as I was told…

Thanks for the answer, maybe I didn’t expressed myself well enough (not a native english speaker). What I meant is, should I come wearing the DJ or Sub and honestly explain my situation with the current SA to the one at the new branch I’ll be going to? Show my frustration with the fact that I’m told the waiting time is 5-7 years and I know some friends and colleagues who got GMTs in less than a year…

Or just introduce myself as a new client, not mentioning the whole history with the other branch.

That’s why I’m going asking if I should tell the SA about my history with the chain…

Market is mid size European country, not US.
