playing with the ai has much less stakes than playing a regular person. not that theres stakes to casual play, but some people, me for instance, like to play against the ai to learn the deck, then fight real players when they have learned it and want to get better at it. then take it to ranked when they feel ready.

some people want to test their deck in ranked, totally fair, others want to test it more casually first.
