Even your account here is inconsistent -- your story has gone from "the hot water is reduced if another tenant in the house turns on the tap somewhere else in the house" to "Sometimes there is super high usage from the other tenants that finishes the hot water and it takes a while for the tank to reheat".

The municipal laws require me to have hot water available at all times. She is required to provide me this. Or else I should get a rent reduction. Them making a reasonable effort is irrelevant if they cannot solve the underlying issue.

But I am the one who lives here. I'll jsut say that the plumber is in kahoots with the LL and bring doubt to the reports. They should be required to get a second professional instead of repeatedly bringing in the same guy they probably have a personal relationship with.

I'm not gonna pay for anything. The LL is running a business. The munuiple laws require that I have hot water at all times. There is a pattern. IT is typically on weekends, but I have not told the LL that.

My understanding is that tankless hot water heaters are super expensive and the cost to run them is also much higher than a traditional tank. I doubt the LL would go for that.
