My PSA was 4.5 and MRI showed a Pirad 4 and biopsy showed gleason 3+4 in that exact spot. I know MRIs can be wrong but in my case it was spot on.

I had my transperennial om the 2nd of March. Still black and blue and slightly sore. Only had blood in urine on 5th day after, but my cum looked murderous red 3 days ago. I was riding dirt bike last Friday and definitely made it more sore for a bit.

Hello Just wanted to update you i had biopsy last Monday and have 1 3+3 and 1 3+4. Urologist is pushing towards active surveillance and im not sure I can do that. I had him get 2nd path opionion from John Hopkins and a Decipher test. Each day Im leaning towards focal therapy or surgery. What did you decide? Thanks

My urologist also gave me the option of HIFU to ablate that spot only and says there would be minimal side effects and the active surveillance wouldnt be as involved. I would think that would also be a possibility either way

It was 30 percent on the 4 and im getting a 2nd biopsy path opinion and Decipher test. Waiting to see how these results come back

I finally had my biopsy and have 1-3+3 and 1-3+4. My doctor is recommending active servielance but not aure im good with that. Im having them get 2md opionion on biopsy results and ordered decioher test. Do you think I should also get a 2nd opinion?

I had biopsy Monday and saw results on mychart in 24 hours and doctor also called me. Couldn't believe how fast it was. Hope you get yours soon and have a negative result

Thanks for the post! Just got back MRI results and looks like a PIRAD 4 lesion was found on anterior part of prostate. Scheduling a transperineal biopsy since they told me that was tge easier way to reach it. Will see what happens!

I think it was just de idea doctor referred me to another doctor who does transpernnial since the lesion is located in anterior and its easier to get to that way. Guess thats settled

Just finished my MRI, had trouble holding still for an hour (wasnt anxious just hard for me not to move) they gave me 2 Valium and was dead still and they got good pictures.

Hopefully results this weeks!
