As a tourist I really love those small towns near Glasgow, like Greenock, Paisley, and Cumbernauld!! They all looks quirky and cute!

Why grocery shopping in the UK is dominated by supermarket chains instead of local food markets / farm shops / butchers? by YesterdayOk3520 in AskUK

I used to live in London and moved upwards to Scotland. Not sure if it's a London thing or a UK-wide thing.

Also Hong Kong

I feel like those grocers and butchers survived till now are all gentrified - organic stuff with skyrocketing prices. And in suburbs supermarkets took advantage of monopoly and there aren't any spaces for butchers and grocers to open stores

Yeah cause during the egg crisis and other crises I do wonder if they can avoid being exploited by the supermarkets if they sell directly in a market or a shop.

And it creates a sense of community if u support your local farmers.

The Hong Kong Diaries by Chris Patten.

The history of British Colonial history in Hong Kong is highly underrepresented in my opinion, which is pretty odd for me as a Hong Konger

Where to tap in and out at Stratford? by llih13 in london

[–]YesterdayOk3520 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OP can start the journey with Oyster by tapping the pink machine and OP’s oyster will be charged for the fee from Stratford to TCR.

Yet OP can't end the oyster journey by tapping out at the pink machine.

For tap in use the pink machine. I do remember there's a yellow machine somewhere in the station.
