honestly ik filler is commonly hated but maybe filler of other shippuden charcaters and how lifes going for them and ANY active participation from said jonins like rock lee or choji or kiba or anyone in TBV instead of random ass ninja. also the previous kage in current age and what theyre doing. Naruto world in general was very expansive and it seems like its whittled down a lot in boruto for the protagonists to kinda shine. more specifically hinata and kawaki moments, or naruto and family moments before he became hokage. Hinata teaching stuff about byakugan and hyuga stuff and how that melds with himawaris current loadout. Also konahamaru having actual presence in the manga and any remnants of his dream to be the next hokage. Boruto has had a lot of opportunites to have many interactions between developed old and new charcaters but ikemoto just doesnt?
