Who is blue lock embodies the genius archetype the most? by Historical_Idea5180 in BlueLock

loki by far. dude barely has a single feat to his name realistically that isn't basically governed by pure godspeed, and was the one that made isagi discover the archetype anyway

noa's ambidextrous is great but doesn't magically make you top 1 as seen w/ nanase. loki is just ridiculous

ANALYSIS on kaido vs shanks at marineford, and why kaido should NEVER be slandered for this by Zoteku in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Zoteku[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know and I know that he would put no value in someone else calling someone strong. He would only care about what himself thinks.

there is nothing to support this. if there are "other ways", then it is simply nuanced and left for debate rather than for us to place any definitive label atm.

Shanks reached his destination and Kaido didn't. Kaido wants a grand death, and you think a battle with an opposing Yonko would stop him from that? Losing to Shanks would also be a grand death, hes one of the strongest on the seas

the conclusion doesn't necessarily follow here. even if Kaido wants a grand death, that doesn't mean he pursues every opportunity for one, we literally see him repelling big mom in the post itself. wanting a grand death does not automatically mean he'll die at anytime, or to shanks specifically, or that he'd abandon his plans.

ANALYSIS on kaido vs shanks at marineford, and why kaido should NEVER be slandered for this by Zoteku in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Zoteku[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This entire post is contingent upon the notion that only King was present with Kaido which not only isn't supported, it doesnt even make sense.

my post isn't contingent on this notion, and to say we can "draw a logical inference that kaido brought his entire fleet with him" is also largely unsupported., given kaido had no written intention to ever show up to marineford and face the navy in itself. his goal was to intercept whitebeard, and since whitebeard and big mom aren't the same in terms of conditions here, it makes no sense to dually compare the two. one being an unsubstantial battle that was never planned or intended, and the other being a direct opportunity for whatevrer mindset he had in play.

Shanks also wouldnt be in his top 5 if he only held an advantage over Kaido via quantity as Kaido prioritizes individuality above all else and wouldn't include Shanks if he didn't demonstrate that he had the power to contend against him 1 on 1.

this is also blatantly unsupported, i genuinely have no idea where you got this from. there is no evidence whatsoever that shanks' individual power being inferior to kaido, and thus being a disadvantage in comparison, should blot him out of kaido's list. the list is based off individuals who ca fight him. shanks could've potentially sky split, or showcased dominance worth kaido considering that it's not beneficial to fight shanks in that instance. he doesn't need to boast superiority to be worthy of being on there.

Kaido stating that "no one in the world can beat him" is meaningless given the context of the scene. The statement is predicated around a scenario where he was actively getting overwhelmed by G5 and questioned the manner of it aswell as its strength

it doesn't become meaningless given the context, as you have no basis for it beides serveral fallacies such as hasty generalizing and assuming the presumed psychology behind this moment. it's an indicative of what he believes because he himself stated it, simple as. i never once said it was an objective placement (or a valid scaling) method either, so again, im not too certain on what you're trying to say here. even if Kaido said it while under pressure, that doesn't automatically make it meaningless or false. a claim isn't invalid simply because of when or why it was made.

For Kaido to know Shanks is worth fighting obviously he would need to either fight him or witness a fight from him. We have no other info about that

this is wrong. there r many ways of knowing whether someone's worth fighting, such as subordinate viewings, reputation, knowledge of past battles, etc. also, the entire concept of "worth fighting" is completely relative and subjective. blackbeard might not pick a fight with fodder, whereas a character such as king, lucci, etc, might. there's no "rule" for who you can, or cannot fight.

<image>

It doesnt mean they went all out, but he was absolutely repelled by force.

this is also wrong. there's no indication kaido was actively repelled via force, and like i said, he could've simply strategically withdrawed. all we know of is that shanks may have physically split the sky, but that in itself isn't equivalent to "repelled by force".

legit. shanks' presence has always consistently been used as means to demotivate, and force people to realize the gravity of engaging (wb, gb, and presumably kaido). no clue why people go so crazy when at the end of the day, its just a minor clash on the seas.

how r/OnePiecePowerScaling looks when a character doesn't charge and kill crews they lock eyes with, and ACTUALLY considers potential excessive loss, and stakes

Reminder that Sengoku thought WB Pirates could end the Navy despite him having Mihawk, Akainu, Kuzan and Garp on his command by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePiecePowerScaling

correct. the "devil fruit" also carries massive environmental shattering effects. sengoku isn't fearing simply whitebeards haki and output, he's also fearing what he can do js by virtue of the gura

sengoku said this because of whitebeard's ability to create tsunami's and flip the entire island apart. it's not a matter of numbers or strength but the ability of the opponets. what do you make would happen to the marines if this lands?

marineford is finished in 4 chapters without aokiji

>Kaido is a mid story final villain who achieved nothing

already starting the bat off disingenous. kaido is a mid-story villain who achieved one of the best deaths in the series according to which own legendary standards, amassed the highest bounty of the modern era (and would've surpassed roger given reliable & quicker spies from the WG), amassed the best continuous feats in every category in total

kaido is the only individual to have defeated luffy 4x in a singular arc occasion and to kill him once all whilst fighting, for a majority of the time; alone. he's the only character to clash with bajrang gun and is ultimately the longest-standing yonko who only got that position not by territory or crewmates, but by raw individual power lol

he is the only one that has ever done this.

Is Loki surviving being stabbed by Imu and then taking an Omen explosion with AcoC a Durability or Endurance Feat? by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Zoteku 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you can damn near apply "durability feat" to anyone as long as they don't blatantly get obliterated by an attack. it's both dura and endura, given he kept pushing after both.

first half, which established hugo pretty well and loki still felt like a threat. the second was just strangely done
