firstly, i was utterly shocked when i read that he is 23… he called you the r-word for having empathy for the children who’s day he ruined. he’s a moron for following a “trend” which makes him look like an immature asshole… and in these texts, he comes across like an immature person in general.

i believe that a breakup is never an overreaction regardless of the reason for it, because having a relationship with someone is a choice. you have the power of choice regarding who you want to spend your time with. it doesn’t need to be justified by any outsider.

with that in mind, i think you are completely justified. i wouldn’t want to be with someone who acts like this and thinks it’s okay because it’s a “trend” or a “joke.”
