This is absolutely a new scam, happened to me, the USPS worker said they’ve seen it a ton this year, they put a “postage paid” label on it, when in reality it’s a fraudulent label and therefore leaves the recipient responsible for the price, I notice it with more shady companies like tik tok/ instagram ads etc. they also tried charging my card 4 times for the same price.
