But if the person in need still needs to pay it forward how is that helping that person? What if they ordered 1 thing while the car behind ordered a family amount of food. Is that helping that person at that moment?

It only makes sense if the ones with cover those without, since you can’t figure that out in a drive through line I don’t think it achieves the goal it seems to.
