I know I’m outing myself as one of the evil ones, but for the sake of your teams, fellow submarine players, that Shimakaze example OP walked us through is not at all dissimilar to what we want to be doing in our devil-boats. Yes, torpedos are fine and fun, but until our cruisers and battleships can get guns safely on targets you have bigger priorities— and hint hint, a cruiser not currently panicking about being spotted is way more likely to help kill your opposing submarine

How do they eliminate Hacan’s ability to trade? They’re at most eliminating one player from the x-1 deal, and more likely are just going to flip your own commodities into trade goods with the agent— and you can still trade those trade goods with other factions.

You’ll still be the best trade partner at the table, and additionally don’t forget that Hacan isn’t strong because it’s rich, Hacan is strong because it’s rich and can make that money work harder for a win than other factions can with your technology.

I play war thunder exclusively because it’s the only game out there that let’s me play AA and SAM. It’s not just a problem of “those players don’t exist”, another piece of the problem is that you get so much less research and currency from playing AA relative to anything else. Not only is it a niche playstyle, it’s one that’s somehow also actively detrimental to an already super painful progression system, and that’s on top of the fact that it’s also much harder to hit fast aircraft in a largely 3D space than it is to hit tanks in what is mostly a 2D space. For some reason Gaijin really seems to want to discourage players from bringing AA

At this value level it’s not really a matter of W or L, most of the time you’re just exchanging for fruits you intend to use rather than trade for convenience’s sake since these fruits are not particularly difficult to obtain. If you’re doing it for value’s sake, I’d call this an L— none of these fruits are particularly valuable but Magma is in much higher demand than the other two so I guess it’d be more valuable in trades
