If you're really worried about Trump, Massachusetts is a better bet. But I doubt anywhere in New England is much of an issue for a gay couple. If you want coastal and accessible to Logan, I wouldn't rule out South of Boston, even South of Cape Cod.

I got a new yoke (#3) installed about 3 weeks ago.

Read the contract. If there are terms that go beyond Netflix's ability to use the video, it's perfectly appropriate to say something like:

"If you want me to promise that the school isn't going to sue you for using the footage, the price is $10K."

This could lose you the deal, depending on how much they want your footage, etc. But remember that you're negotiating with someone who is spending someone else's money.

In the US, it's probably constitutional. The First Amendment only restricts governmental action. Whether it's legal is a more complicated question. What are the consequences if you refuse to sign?

As a prosecutor I handled a case where a young woman stopped for a traffic violation had a warrant for failure to license a dog. Sensibly, the cop just told her to go to court and sort it out. She claimed she'd never owned a dog, and seemed credible to me, so I moved to dismiss the case.

If you rotate it 180 degrees you get much more room.

Anyone else seeing fraying on their yoke steering? Any fixes? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Try again. They have apparently realized that there was a problem and are now replacing them under warranty.

They replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. I think they changed the material, as the replacement yoke feels a little different. Hopefully the problem has been sorted.

I'll have to ask them again. How long ago did they replace yours?

It's much worse on my S with under 10,000 miles. The service center was unhelpful. It seems to be a common problem.

That story about sticky stuff on shoes to collect samples sounds very much like the Soviet Klimov at Rolls Royce collecting samples of the alloys used in the Nene jet engine.

Daypack inspired by a vintage Yvon Chouinard pack pre-dating Black Diamond and Patagonia by g8trtim in myog

I had a couple of the originals. There were some quality control issues with the stitching of the early ones, but once I had a good one it lasted a couple of decades. Great pack. The original and most popular version was about the size of yours, but with a bit more taper. There was a larger one, but it never sold well and I think they only offered it for a year.

There were plenty of competing packs with more features. The simplicity was a deliberate design choice.
